This policy applies to consumers in the EU/EEA who buy from us online.
1) Your 14-day right of withdrawal (cooling-off period)
When you buy from us online, you generally have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days, without giving any reason. European Union+1

To use your right of withdrawal, you must notify us within those 14 days by an unequivocal statement (e.g., by email to info@holytoe.com). European Union

2) Hygiene product exception (socks) — no returns once unsealed
Our socks are a hygiene product. Therefore, the right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons if they have been unsealed after delivery. EUR-Lex+2Wetgeving UK+2
This means:

✅ Returns are only accepted if the socks are unworn, unwashed, and still sealed in their original hygienic packaging.

❌ If the hygienic seal is broken/opened after delivery, we cannot accept a return.
Important: This rule applies to sealed hygiene goods. Please keep the hygienic seal intact if you may want to return your order. EUR-Lex+1
3) Conditions for accepted returns
If a return is accepted (for example, because the item is still sealed), the returned goods must be:

unused and in resalable condition

complete, with original packaging and the hygienic seal intact
We may refuse a return that doesn’t meet these conditions where legally permitted.
4) Refunds (when a withdrawal/return is valid)
If you withdraw validly and the return is accepted, we will refund:

the price you paid for the returned product(s), and

the cost of standard outbound shipping (if you paid extra for an upgraded shipping option, that extra is not refunded). European Union

5) Return shipping costs
If you withdraw and the return is accepted, you are responsible for the direct cost of return shipping, unless we explicitly state otherwise.
6) Defective items / wrong item (your legal guarantee)
The hygiene seal exception does not limit your rights if the goods are defective or you received the wrong item. In the EU you have a minimum 2-year legal guarantee for faulty/non-conforming goods.
